Well done Dundonald Links. The sale by Loch Lomond Golf Club to Darwin Leisure has been confirmed. There are plans to develop the course and to build a new clubhouse and lodges. All of which will add to the attraction of the East Ayrshire course.

The course designed by Kyle Phillips offers a rewarding experience for golfers of all levels. Having hosted the European Tour 2017 Scottish Open Championship, the relatively young course (15 years old) is deceptive. Standing on any green you would forgiven for thinking that the course had been in play for 150 years. This is largely due to the classic layout and experienced eye of Mr Phillips.
One to watch
From the warm welcome from the staff and management to the views out over the Firth of Clyde to the Isle of Arran (if you can see Arran, it is about to start raining.. if you can't see it, it is already raining!) Dundonald nestles nicely between several amazing links courses. Until you have visited, it is impossible to believe how close you are to all the surrounding courses.
The purchase and associated investment can only be positive for golfing in Ayrshire and will establish Dundonald links as a tour destination for many years to come.
