Prestwick

The history of Prestwick Golf Club stretches back over 160

years to a time when golf was in its infancy.  In 1851, a group of 57 enthusiastic members, met at the Red Lion Pub and established the Open Championship. A true original Links layout and host to the first “Open Championship” in 1860.

 

 
Royal Troon

Host to the Open Championship, and a real test of golfing ability. with the wind to contend with, and deep rough interspersed with gorse and broom, accurate shot making is essential. players should make their scores on the outward nine, as the prevailing north-westerly wind can make the back nine extremely difficult.

 

 
Panmure

"Hogan" hole (the sixth) and the Buddon Burn (the twelfth) conspire to give you a round of golf to remember. Renowned as a final qualifying venue for the Open Championship held at Carnoustie.

One of Scotland's most prestigious member clubs, mixing the finest tradition with some of the most admired natural links land in the world.

Events

Culzean Castle 

Built around 1777 the castle has stunning clifftop views and room after room of historic interest. Dwight D. Eisenhower stayed here 4 times, including once while president of the united states. the castle is reputed to be home to at least seven ghosts, including a piper and a servant girl.
