Golf

Moray Golf Club

A Championship Links course easily on a par with the likes of Royal Dornoch, Nairn and many others. The course starts and finishes in the town very similar to the way ‘The Old Course’ in St Andrews does and was designed by Old Tom Morris and British Golfing Icon Henry Cotton.

Elgin

Founded in 1906, Elgin Golf Club is widely regarded as one of the finest inland courses in the North of Scotland.  Measuring 6,458 yards with par of 69 and a standard scratch of 71, the challenging but fair course is a true test of low and high handicap players alike.

Hopeman

The course is short but very enjoyable and demands straight hitting. A favourite of former Open Champion Paul Lawrie. With breathtaking views along the Moray Firth it can claim with the 12th hole to have one of the best Par 3 holes in Scotland.

Nairn Dunbar

Ranked 9th in the North of Scotland Top 100 Golf Courses, the Championship Links Course stretches out 6765 yards over 18 holes, containing four Par 3's, four Par 5's and ten Par 4's giving it a PAR 72 over the 18 holes. Designed to test all golfing abilities.

The Nairn

Regarded as one of the finest Championship Links Lay-outs in Scotland. Beware as it is only too easy to strike the ball into the sea on every one of the first seven. Host to the 1999 Walker Cup Matches and 2012 Curtis Cup Matches.

Castle Stuart

As Turnberry is to Ayrshire and Gleneagles is to Perthshire, Castle Stuart has been conceived to be for the Highlands.  Hosting the European Tour’s Scottish Open on four occasions, Castle Stuart is a must play for every golfer.
